Non-atomizing
spray apparatus, such as a pump-tank sprayer or tree sprayer with a fan spray tip size
between .026 and .072.
Remove
coatings or buildups of any kind present on surface or else REPELLER cannot penetrate
properly.
Use
a non-atomizing spray apparatus, such as a pump-tank sprayer or tree sprayer with a fan
spray tip size between .026 and .072.
Hold
spray tip 6 inches from surface.
Apply
at the rate shown on chart below with an overlapping spray pattern and a fanning motion at
end of pass.
Surface
should be wetted with REPELLER enough to glisten, but do not puddle.
Drying
time varies with temperature and environment. In good conditions at 70°F, this should
take about 24 hours.
Protect
areas not intended for coverage as product is very difficult to remove later. REPELLER
will damage or kill vegetation and will stain or etch glass, plastic and aluminum. If
contact should occur, wash immediately with water.
White
precipitate may form if REPELLER is overapplied. Surface should be washed and may need
scrubbing if this occurs.
Do
not apply when ambient temperature drops below 50°F.
Do
not apply when rain is expected during next 24 hours.
Do
not apply on extremely hot surfaces. On very hot days, apply in early morning or at night.
Avoid
contact with eyes and skin. Small amounts transferred to mount by fingers should not cause
injury. A local exhaust is recommended if spray mist is created in an enclosed area. We
recommend the use of a painter's mask during application. Refer to MSDS.
